Background
The Concourse Shopping Centre has been at the heart of the local community of Skelmersdale for many years, providing shopping, town centre car parking, public transport links and much more.
Almost 1,000 local people are employed at shops and facilities in the Concourse.
We need to safeguard these jobs and ensure the Concourse can continue to thrive as a key community facility for years to come.
Skelmersdale needs a new foodstore and we believe that this is the right site for it, whilst creating more jobs for the local community, providing a real boost to Skelmersdale.
